About This Game “The Construct” is a classical top-down view adventure indie game. The gameplay mixes retro-like gameplay mechanics with modern features and a spectacular atmosphere and mysterious storyline. The game features an approximetly 2-3 hours long main story line with a constant variety in level design and cinematic elements, several bonus maps to unlock, numerous steam achievements, trading cards, emoticons, badges and profile backgrounds to collect, and after completing the story for the first time, the real hardcore skillgamers can choose to complete it for a second time on hard mode, that offers numerous changes in level design and a highly increased difficulity. With all of the above claculated it takes around 5-6 hours to 100% complete the game. The game can be played using both a controller or mouse and keyboard. Found this game at sale,so I thought I'd give it a shot.First 15 minutes in this game I was wondering where and what am I doing.Then,I found out I have to get some keycard,and I got really goddamn happy that I managed to do that (Note:I really seem to suck at this game,even tho,I like it!)After that I gave up trying to figure out how to go to the room where I get a weapon.And here I am.Afterall its a great game,but Mr.Developer I want you to know that there are some minor things that can be fixed:1.Make the ship turn faster.2.Some of the animation when moving look a little laggy.3.Presuming you are either Hungarian or English,I got to say you have great grammar compared to some other foreign gamers!4.Overall,the menu should be a little better optimized!Final word:Its a great game,but still needs to get some patches.Hope It gives you a preview of what this game is going to be about buyer!Shurikenx out.. these people managed to ♥♥♥♥ up asteroids controls. the most basic control scheme in the world, which even i know how to make, and they ♥♥♥♥ed it up. if you brush along a wall you will turn to face it and then become stuck, like a dart trapped in an enormous dartboard if the dartboard was a space station and the dart was an indicator of how badly made this game was, or something like that, this analogy kind of got away from me but whatever it controls horribly and has awful weird inertia which makes navigating the instant death mazes they mistook for good level design tedious rather than difficult. tedious is not a good word to associate with your game!. I don't even remember how I got this game, but I hope I didn't pay for this, becuase this game is on the same production level as free flash games you can find online. There are gramatical isssues in the menus and texts. The gameplay it self is very basic, you could get longer levels and more complicated mechanics in newgrounds ffs. Also, it makes my controller rumble at random times in the menu and options, and reads it signal incorrectly, occasionally thinking the left stick is moving up, even when it's not, and it's the only game that behaves like this with my controller.. great classic game, good story, nice gfx and sounds. Levels feels unfinished but still it's pretty fun.
